City of Pain

If you look at Briere, Gagne, and even Forsberg, how can you not see the Mike Richards is the one true Flyer? He’s a fighter, he’s a tough guy, he’s a sniper, he’s a hustler, he’s a faceoff machine. He’s going to be one of the favorites of the city for a long time. And he’ll be wearing the C soon (although I have no problem with Jason Smith).

We’ll see what the rest of this year brings, but I’m a lot more excited for the Flyers this year than I have been at any point in the last couple of years. They’ve got balls. Finally.

so here’s our look at the baseball free agent class. i’m not anticipating a lot of action, so this is going to be more pain than pleasure. just in case, i put in bold the top ten people i’d like that phils to get even with their budget. so no a-rod, no rowand, etc. we’ll keep this as updated as we can…just look to the left side of the page for the permanent home of this page.
